Im so excited for christmas this year! Especially going to Cologne christmas markets with some of my friends on the 21st-24th! Anyway thanks to my friend Amy for tagging me! Here is the tag...
1) When do you start getting excited about Christmas?
End of November because my birthday has passed so I can look forward to christmas!
2) Do you still have an advent calender?
We have a really cool advent calender... It has presents in which my mum refills every year! We share it so every 3rd day I get a present which I prefer getting 8 mini presents to 24 chocolates!
3) Favourite christmas films?
Nativity... I know Nativity 2 is out but I havent seen that yet and the first one is so funny! Hopefully the second one is just as good.
4) What is your typical christmas day?
We all wake up and run down stairs to wake my mum and dad up...whilst they are making tea and getting ready we que up outside the lounge door... Then we go in with my parents and open our santa sack presents. Later on in the day we open our family and friends presents from under the tree! Then we have a traditional dinner as a late lunch. Later on after spending time with family we have cheese and biscuits and the adults have mulled wine etc.
5) What do you have for a christmas dinner?
I have quite a traditional meal with turkey and potatoes and vegtables... Sometimes we have vegetarian stuff aswell because my auntie is a veggie! So yeah we have alot of food though!!
6)Traditions at christmas?
Well we dont have any obvious ones that just we do, we do alot of acting like little kids in the morning! But most the things we do alot of people do so its not really worth pointing them out.
7) What is your favourite christmas song?
Umm i quite like the band aid song because its for a good cause, i also like Micheal Buble (how ever you spell it) because his voice reminds me of christmas! But my all time favourite is Mariah Carey (probablly spelling error) all i want for christmas is youuuuu!
8) What is your best ever present? I dont know really I like them all! I remember getting very excited on christmas day because I got a new bike. But every christmas I generally enjoy all my presents!
9)Real or fake tree?
Real everytime! Its just alot more magical and the smell is amazing, even if it is quite messy! My mum quite likes spending ages positioning and trimming it and then we decorate it! One year we got a really small one so we planted it after christmas then every year we bring it in to put on the landing or something.
10) Have you ever built a snowman?
Of course! But one day I want to build a massive one with loads of people so it takes forever to melt! I get cold quite quickly so I easily give up on a half built snowman.
11) Candy Canes or Gingerbread?
Candy canes can be quite messy/sticky and too sweet but Im not a huge fan of gingerbread either but overall gingerbread men because it has more flavour and it feels more festive.
12) Have you ever built a gingerbread house?
I havent ever but I feel I should at some point. Im not very delicate or patient so I don't think it would be a huge success!
13) Do you open your presents on Christmas eve or Christmas day?
I didnt even know people did open them on Christmas eve! In England everyone opens them actuall Christmas day.
14) Do you dress up or wear your Pjs?
I come downstairs in my Pjs to open my santa presents then I have breakfast in my Pjs then I go upstairs and put on a christmas day dress! Especially if we are going somewhere or having some guests.
